Goldie's highly decorative colourful porcelain and stoneware is often employed by symbolic themes.Goldie explains her love for clay as "To explore clay through form, colour, texture, accessing the depth of my experience and imagination is a magical journey filled with excitement and mystery. I am continually intrigued with the endless actual and symbolic possibilities of the medium."

 Sarah first started making jewelry in 2001 when she designed and made her own bridal headpiece.  From then on, all of her creative energy has focused solely on jewelry.  Putting together beads and wire to create something that someone will wear is hugely rewarding for her.  All of her pieces are personally hand crafted using fine materials such as sterling silver, freshwater pearls and gemstones.  Sarah loves giving her work a sense of movement, fluidity and joy and often incorporates asymmetrical details for a bit of fun and whimsy.  She lives with her two children in a wonderful neighborhood in Ottawa, Ontario.

Lisa, a widely celebrated local Artist from Guelph, has created a line of functional ceramics  on display now at In a Heartbeat.  Her goddess, mermaid and cat mugs, bowls and wine goblets are unique are further complimented by her gorgeously textured bowls.

Inspired by research into the art of ancient cultures, Melanie is fascinated with the expression of spiritual concerns in both art and our home environment.  The images are of women, landscapes and animals, each with a story and meaning. Melanie is from Guelph, Ontario.
